I think I should write about my end-of-school-term escapades before I forget all about them...
Well, it's THE time of my school life again. The time when your term in a school is drawing to a close. What would YOU do?? Well here's what I felt the overwhelming urge to do: break the rules! :D :D :p
Anyway, easy chicken stuff like climbing the school gate was already done twice last year. We're talking uncommon stuff here. Like cutting school frequently. We found out too late that since our form teacher is never ever with our class since he's a discipline teacher and needs to be outside the hall doing duty, we can skip school almost any time we want because he won't be there to ask us for mc/parent's letter! Oh well. Better late than never anyway, so I started staying at home weekly. I wasn't playing though. I wanted to study and stuff. Finish my IS. US applications. Etc. There were days where I'd come to school late - I just wanted to attend a certain lesson, for example. The simplest way to get into the school compound without the guard booking you is climbing the back gate. But since I carry quite a huge school bag and wear a skirt, that option was not really viable. So I decided to take a taxi and get the driver to drive in. It worked both times I tried, thank goodness.
I kinda realize that cutting school frequently may not be uncommon for some people... Well up till recently it was for me, and most of my friends.
Well another way to come to school late without being caught is by pretending to be a J1 during the J1 promo exam period. Cuz J1s are allowed to come and leave school any time since they have exams on. So that's exactly what I did - I passed off as a J1. It wasn't easy though. Thankfully, I was very paranoid about being caught, so I used my whole trip to school on the bus to brainstorm for ways to pass off as a J1. I decided to remove my leader badge and change my timetable. The most amazing thing was, my laziness actually had a part to play in this! Because I was too lazy to clear my file, so my J1 timetables were still in my file! All I had to do was switch my timetable to the J1 timetable.
Guard: J1 or J2??
Me: J1!
Guard: K let me see your card.... eh you sure J1? Born in '93?
Me: Uhm yeah I'm a scholar!
Guard: Nah go write your name
Me: No no really look at my timetable! See! J1!
Guard: Hmmm... okay fine. Go.
I GOT PAST! :D
Lol then the night before the 2nd last chapel, Avanti and I had a discussion at 1am to decide how to skip chapel the next day since it was kinda useless and we wanted to sleep. So initially we planned to sit at the 2nd level balcony where MRC usually sits, so that we can escape when chapel begins.
Well, I kinda screwed up the plan by arriving late. I couldn't get up to the balcony cuz the discipline teachers had already closed the hall doors. So I decided to walk out with the J1s later. I left my bag with one of the J1 classes at the side of the hall and sat with my class. Then when they asked the J1s to leave for their promo paper, I walked out with them:p
I tell you, it was so nerve wrecking at first! I was worried I'd be caught! Miss So actually saw me and stared. I hurried away - and got stuck in a human jam. -.- oh well but she didn't stop me. Haha.
So I met Avanti outside and we both went to the CPA to hide. Heh.
